Now that the image is editable, we can proceed. In order to correct this, set your image to RGB mode, under the Image > Mode menu.
This happens a lot with png and gif files. This is because the image is set to Indexed Color mode. When the skin is initially brought into Photoshop, you may not be able to perform many edits. Command/Ctrl + 0 will perform this action. Once the image is visible, drag it into Photoshop, where it’s going to appear very, very small.īecause we’re dealing with a pixel based image, it can easily be zoomed to fit your screen.
